it's actually better to be weird! confuse people, be ugly, passionate, be YOU. i spent so much time trying to be perfect and liked by everyone and that way i just got a lot of shallow connections because i refused to let people see the real me and get to really know me. it's silly to chase perfection as it donesn't exist and being weird is better than being boring :p
Doesn’t matter if you actually are or not. It’s fun to be or pretend to be a weirdo. Theres like a whole Radiohead song about it and a Korn one too. Not gonna write an essay about it but you should consider being all about yourself and what you like no matter how odd it is, even for just a day

respectability politics has everyone in a chokehold and I am so so sick of it. i dropped my customer service voice in all aspects of my life and while in some instances its made racist ass people regard me a little funny, for the most part people have been nicer (?), or at least more comfortable when talking to me. i have a black new york accent, and I will be using it! and i suggest you all do too!! 😼
