it took me 11 years to do a writing course again! I write in English A LOT and lost my ability to write in Spanish lol so because it’s my native language i started a course in Spanish and I’m loving it!!!
I want to share how exciting it is for me to lear Spanish as a 20 year old.
It literally feels like when you were at primary school and started learning the first things in all the different subjects and when you finally began to notice some improvement you were so genuinely happy about it.
i've spent a big chunk of my life speaking & writing in english, pero nada cambiara mi amor por mi lengua materna. no soy poeta, ni escritora, pero hay algo del español que es intrínsecamente más poético cuando uno lo compara contra el inglés. a pesar de que hoy en día escribo y hablo más en inglés, es un privilegio poder hablar esta lengua y mantener parte de mi cultura con ella. mis primeras palabras fueron en español. recién llegada a canadá, cuando no sabía decir algo en inglés, lo diría en español. es una parte importante de mí 🇨🇴
(u otro idioma aparte del inglés!) es tan divertido hablar un idioma diferente !!!!!! tengo que mejorar mi español, no soy perfecto 😅 pero no hay muchas publicaciones aquí en español y quiero hablar con más hispanohablantes en PI <3
Today is the release of my new EP, and being an independent musician is HARD AF.
