Love this for you! I also deleted all the apps like ig, fb, etc. a while back, and it’s honestly so nice lol, the urge to doom scroll or compulsively check my notifications going away is the best.
i got rid of all the bad little apps in my phone and even this one!! for a while and tbh although i do find myself scrolling on substack more it’s been good to stop caring about ig
i went overseas for a time and my screen time dramatically decreased. i wanted to be present and enjoy the sounds of the waves not fill the silence. now i’m back and tbh i don’t care for the views and comments from people. sorry to all the folks who had videos saved of mine, hopefully i never reactivate. i want my home to be a place i want to be not that i want to escape from. i’ll be working on making it more brain-inviting and vibey. more plants, more birds chirping and shit.
the experience is dogsh*t, which feels like a fitting penance for someone who deleted the app to at least mildly elude the cryptopticonical prison that surrounds us in the first place
damn they’re so good. my go to order is one with shrimp, salmon, spicy crab, edamame, masago, avocado, sesame seeds, cucumber, poke sauce, soy sauce, and sriracha aioli. poke port is my favorite place to go. lmk ur poke recs!!!
diners are awesome. they’re so cute and u can load up on the most american breakfast you’ll ever eat. bonus points if u bring ur bf with u and share two different types of waffles
i love this album. i know $b isn’t for everyone, i myself used to dislike them, but man they have really grown on me and i was hyped for this album. it came out last summer and ive been obsessed. thin grey line, thorns, and misery in waking hours are my favs :)
