we were both introducing ourselves to new people and i said her name instead of mine, and then had to go “wait wait no i’m liv i’m liv” and it was so surreal and embarrassing and felt like the biggest deal at age 14
so i work a pretty little customer service job right… this man goes “your name is wrong. it’s supposed to be m-a-y-a. where are you from?” huh??? welcome to the interrogation station goddamn. like my mom didn’t know i would suffer be nice
My therapist, who is in her late 20s and is therefore no more than five years older than me, said “good girl” to me during our session yesterday, because I am better able to manage my anxiety. I had no idea how to react, and instead of that causing me anxiety and confusion, I just laugh about how unexpected that was. My girlfriend also got a kick out of it lol. So silly. Life is so unpredictable and awesome in that way.
it't not identity theft if you're mistaken for another person and don't correct them. that's on THEM. was recently mistaken for a girl called Valentina. the person I was speaking to was shocked at my speedy recovery (apparently Valentina was recently seen sporting crutches). obviously played along. obviously explained that my physio said I was his most impressive patient. person in question bought it. sorry Valentina, hope you recover soon!
