MAKING A MINI ALBUM WITH LOTS OF CONSTRAINTS SO YOU ACTUALLY FINISH IT
I made a mini album in 6 days and set a ton of constraints so that I would finish it. it was a life-changing experience to be honest and now I am more at peace !!! it is called Folk Noise to Fall Asleep To and I am happy it exists.
where do people listen to music here? this is the Spotify link but I have it on most streaming services so that my parents could listen too (they do not understand SoundCloud and Bandcamp)

@ADRIEN_FELL_OVER you must! the whole thing is only 10 minutes but even doing something that short made the process seem so much more approachabl. it is the best and I kind of want to do something similar every year now

i didn't know what to do
I HATE doing promo with a PASSION (unless it's the fun kind where I make silly teaser videos that actually take effort) but I just put out a song! Started making it in December last year but just finished it last month for a school project. It's really influenced by Parannoul's 'To See the Next Part of the Dream' and Jane Remover's 'Frailty' as well as other things. Vocals are a bit rough since I'm not a great singer but other than that I'm pretty happy with it!

Wild that the stuff I made when I had all the time in the world to focus purely on learning how to get the production the way I wanted it still feels like the stuff I still feel like I did better than anything else. in hindsight I regret splitting 6 songs across 3 "EPs" lmao

I almost kept walking but it was so radiant with magic that I turned around and plucked it from the sidewalk. I reflect on its essence daily
