new documentary on hbo where paul reubens (famous for creating and playing pee-wee herman) spoke about his life before his passing. as a huge fan it was great to see and also a really hard watch at many points just seeing the way that he was somebody who tried more than anything to put pure love into his art and he succeeded in that and then hollywood eviscerated him for literally no good reason. the doc included some audio he recorded the day before his death and i cried so hard. he sounded unrecognizable and he basically was just saying he wanted people to know before he died that all he wanted was to spread love and glee to people with his art. he will always be such a huge artistic inspiration to me and pee-wee as a character will always be so important to me as an autistic person who saw myself represented in him. i'm so sad that we lost paul, one of the few true artistic geniuses. but we can still enjoy the amazing art he left us with, which is probably what he'd want anyway.

The man was clearly a genius -- and all the puts and takes that come with it -- and it amazes me, all these years after his passing, how little we STILL know about him.
Which is most likely exactly the way he wanted it.

i will never get over polyvore shutting down. i used it obsessively and had hundreds of outfits made on it and mine were ARTFUL not like the stuff people say they saw on wattpad with like skinny jeans and converse and shit like mine were gorgeous. and then they shut down and i wasn't able to back up any of my stuff so i lost it all. there's a little stray kitty cat that i've been seeing around my house so i put some food out for it and the next day it was gone. today i saw the cat as i got home so i got more food and went outside and the cat was across the street. i shook the food in the bag and it heard it and turned around. i put the food out and went back inside and as soon as i was inside the cat came running over for the food. it was hungry! i tried to come outside for a pet but the cat started to run away so i stayed inside so it could eat in peace. i hope someday i can pet it
