The costuming??? Jonathan Groff (aka King George) in red, and everyone else in black??? The very deliberate song choices???? Daveed Diggs wearing a black beret and a glove on his right hand as a reference to The Black Panthers??? That entire performance was a subtle form of political protest and a beautiful one at that (I cried watching it lol)
