If you're not already obsessed with Korean skincare, what are you doing? In Korea we say you can’t age backwards but we can stop it right here. One of my suitcases is always full of face masks. I never travel without them. Better skin, better you.
i’ve been wearing sunscreen almost every day for a decade at this point and it’s genuinely an essential for me, even if i’m not spending any or much time outside. i’ve tried a LOT of sunscreens and my go-to’s always end up being korean sunscreens (the isntree hyaluronic acid water sun gel and beauty of joseon relief sun aqua-fresh sunscreen are my all time favorites).
i think the fundamentals of skincare are to (a) use sunscreen everyday and (b) double cleanse every night! i use the cosrx aloe sunscreen and double cleanse with the banila co oil balm followed by the cosrx gentle cleanser. beyond that, i’d recommend skin cycling cuz it’s a helpful routine and doesn’t overload on products! i do a four day routine —
night 1: exfoliate with an aha OR bha (i alternate this per cycle and use cosrx for both)
night 2: retinol
nights 3 and 4: hyluaronic acid (i use torriden) start with toner and end with moisturizer every night!!
What started as a workout to support weight loss and strengthen my back has become a daily obsession. It’s my version of meditation. You only get one ass—might as well make it a hot one!
