i work brunch and the worst part is being so exhausted after you work that you lose the rest of the day. i just started doing 5 minutes of meditation (no videos, just trying to keep your mind empty) as soon as i get home and i've noticed a difference. a minute long rinse in the shower helps too
@LIVBAIER my coworker told me they sometimes nap on the floor so it's easier to get up after lol. haven't tried it myself though. stay strong, i'm quitting in august counting down the weeks
I started meditating about 2 months ago. I haven’t been consistent but this app is doing wonders for me. I love the breath work aspect. Tonight it focused in all the things ive touched. kinda dumb but I went through it all, toast, clothing, my dog, my makeup etc. different textures different purposes. It’s weird when you break down your day to the small things. Try it, you might like it.
use anything! newspaper and string! fabric! magazine pages! cover that in stickers or drawings or whatever ribbon u have! yesterday i put a box into a trader joe’s bag, folded the top down, and stapled a bow onto it & it looks adorable
this is a photo i took of my empty childhood bedroom—my parents are moving so this was goodbye i deleted instagram, so now i get to rethink how i interact with photography since there’s
no end goal of posting. i ordered prints and i’m planning to collage with them, mail them to people, put them on my fridge… open to recs too!
