i dream of living in a world where we arent so consumed by media and technology. i would love to see how i could cope for a few hours doing normal things without my phone. but then again, who doesnt long for that freedom?

today i met up with a friend for lunch and coffee in my neighborhood and i told him beforehand iād be showing up without a phone and i said when and where iāll meet him. i left my apartment with nothing but my keys and credit card. we spent 3 hours yapping with no phones in sight (except when i asked him to google some statistical facts we had to check which were pertinent to the conversation). it was fucking awesome i felt so free i didnāt even WANT this god damn device on me. it usually just stresses me out when i have my phone on me because i end up constantly checking if itās still in my pocket in case itās been stolen or something... but i was free todayā¦ to be in the sunā¦ zero technologyā¦ highly recommendā¦

We all know and love āHurricaneā and āReady or Notā, and the entire rest of the record lives up to that. Iāve had it on repeat for days now.

šive recently had the privilege to watch my dad fall back in love with music. its always been a big part if my life and its what i hope to pursue as a career, and its always been around the house. but as of late, ive noticed my dad is always playing something and he sings and dances along. its beautiful to see him enjoying something so much.

šthis album was really influential to both of my parents so naturally i fell in love. i think its one of the best albums ive ever listened to. it makes me nostalgic for the rebellious teen phase i never had that im trying to live out now at 22.
