They’re a Danish retailer (a chain but still cute) with stores in Tokyo, Paris etc.
I found their linear store concept cool and they have quirky seasonal items and pretty much everything from board games to journals to mini vending machines which you can buy and fill up with your own candy and keep on your desk for example! It’s fun and calming to browse around even if you don’t need to buy anything (it’s affordable too).

🧸people think to check out book stores, cafes, thrift stores when exploring your own/ other cities but toy stores are underappreciated! The best ones I’ve seen were in Amsterdam. you would be surprised what cute souvenirs and trinkets you can find there!

🏡I don’t care how old I get, I will always be obsessed with dollhouse miniatures. They’re also a very practical thing to collect if you live in a cramped New York City apartment. One of the few, cool places on the UES is this store that’s been around for thirty years, that sells things like mini cheese balls, boba, a lava lamp, and teeny tiny orange Crocs. Relatedly, I am also fond of those trick fake food sculptures that look like milk spilled that you can get online.

Always a good comfort meal! The tofu is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside once I’ve pan fried it. I like to use tofu that’s been frozen to perfectly remove moisture + the flavor seeps through much better.
For the noodles, I use Trader Joe’s squiggly knife cut noodles but add to the sesame based sauce with peanut butter, etc.
