watching it for the first time !! i’m about halfway through and wow i love it <3 anne hathaway (my celebrity crush) killed it w her songs; she definitely deserved that oscar. can’t wait to see amanda seyfried 🌟🌟
this movie was seriously so good!!! keke palmer is a seasoned actor so i knew her performance would be on point, but ms. sza also really kills this role. is there anything that woman can't do?! i thought the characters were really believable and our two mains are just impossibly lovable, even alyssa who's lowkey making silly mistakes the whole time... i laughed, and i almost cried several times too! dreux and alyssa are better together, their collective brain is too powerful
it feels so empowering to walk around wearing ethnic clothes in a ‘modern’ city where the standard fashion is deeply influenced by the west. i will always love u, sarees <3 also, this is my mum’s saree, and many sarees are heirlooms passed down in the family. it’s quite literally, wearing your culture, carrying the stories of your ancestors with you! maybe this is why i like thrifted clothes lol

- finished my final year of college
- moved back home from the city my college is in
- started freelancing (i make illustrations!)
- made art commissions to help financially support a palestinian family
- started reviewing matcha around my city (attached a photo of my friend and i at a matcha rave??)
