Suuuuuper quick and easy to make. I like adding extra garlic and onion and either tofu or bacon depending on my mood. Extra gochujang paste and vinegar helps if you have limited kimchi juice, but I definitely recommend getting a big jar. Top with gim, sesame seeds, and a fried egg.

steam it for 10-15 min first, slice thin, pan fry in a light layer of avocado oil, let it get nice and crispy on each side and coat it with hoisin sauce. rice and kimchi on the side!
This week was horribly inconsistent in terms of weather, but spring is certainly fighting to warm things up. Even winter’s vestiges can’t help but display the promise of warmth and new life. The way the ice is melting and cracking in waves doesn’t hurt the eyes either. Despite the lack of greenery, there can still be growth.
They have such a light but powerful scent. Instantly sends me on a nostalgia trip to my old elementary school where we used to have one right next to the softball diamond. It was always the meeting place for my close friend and I over recess when we‘d meet to discuss the novel we cowrote (Novel being generous). To me, they are creativity and first crushes incarnate.
